Successful Completion of the 25th Monsoon Ride – Valparai Adventure
The 25th Monsoon Ride organized by the KERC Club was a memorable event filled with excitement, camaraderie, and thrilling rides through the scenic landscapes of Valparai. From June 28 to June 30, 2025, our passionate riders embarked on a three-day journey that tested their skills and dedication to the spirit of motorcycle riding.
Booking and Preparation
The booking window was open from May 18 to June 15, 2025, allowing members ample time to prepare for this much-anticipated ride. Riders were reminded to adhere strictly to the ride rules, including being KERC Club members, carrying their ID cards, and riding only Royal Enfield Bullets. Safety was paramount; all participants were required to wear complete protective gear — riding jackets, pants, helmets, gloves, shoes, and elbow and knee kits. Additionally, riders brought essential documents like RC books, insurance papers, driver’s licenses, and PUC certificates to ensure compliance and safety throughout the trip.
Ride Details
The ride officially commenced at 4:30 a.m. on June 28 from Ezhaimaariamman Kovil. The early start allowed the group to enjoy the cool morning breeze and make the most of daylight for their journey. Covering diverse terrains and breathtaking views, the ride challenged participants while offering spectacular sights of Valparai’s lush greenery and monsoon magic.
